Her name is pronunced: LEE-GEE-AH-KN

She moved to the United States in the summer of 1999 with her family. Shortly after moving she started acting in her church plays and making home movies with her friends during sleepovers.

It wasn’t until she was in high school that she realized acting was a passion she wanted to pursue.

Now you can watch her and the award-winning show “ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK.” She is also breaking into the indie film world with works in, “LOVE, NEW YORK” which was nominated for the 2016 Centric Award at the Reel Sisters Film Festival, “HOME MOVIE”,  and “SCENES FROM THE UNDERGROUND.”
